Industrial
Industry uses more than one third of all energy consumed in the US today. It’s estimated, that Industry could save up to 40% of its energy consumption by employing new technologies that not only reduces energy consumption but can also increase productivity and improve quality. Why doesn’t Industry do more in energy conservation? There are a number of reasons.
In House Capabilities – “We can do energy conservation in house, with our own people and save money” Although this strategy seems logical it is in fact very seldom successful. The person or persons that are tasked for energy conservation have other priorities that take precedent, such as production and Quality Control. These persons are typically not trained or experienced in energy conservation measures and are not current on the ever changing utility rebate programs that can be applied to help reduce project cost. At Action Energy we like to work with an in house designated Energy Advisor (Company Employee) as that person would play a key role in identifying energy savings projects, and connect Action with key company personnel which helps keep projects on the fast track.
Familiarity with Industry- Most Energy Services Companies are not familiar with Industries unique set of requirements. Energy service companies are typically oriented towards Commercial, Residential and Government. At Action Energy our roots are in industry, because we understand their unique requirements and have been very successful in helping industry reduce their overall energy consumption.
